Run or walk with your family, friends, neighbors, or colleagues at Wheeler Mission—Bloomington's upcoming newly rebranded 5K, named Dash 4 Shelter.

Here are important Dash 4 Shelter details:
• Date: Saturday, December 2
• Start Time: 10:30 a.m.
• Distance: Timed 5K (3.1 miles)
• Where: Starting and finishing at Karst Farm Park
• Route: Solely on Karst Farm Greenway
• Event Site & Sign Up: Dash 4 Shelter

Proceeds benefit Wheeler Mission—Bloomington’s programs services for those experiencing homelessness in Bloomington, Monroe County, and South-Central Indiana.
  • Lois & Ernie Eaton: continued prayer for health & grace
  • Fritzi & Sue Sips: Fritzi’s chemo treatments
  • Tyler & Nancy Sage: Tyler's health & Nancy as she cares for him
  • Becky White: recovering in Richland Bean Blossom; visits & encouragement are appreciated
  • John Bower: Esophageal cancer; port put in 10/30; treatment started last week; so far, he’s responding well
  • Brown Family (Kirby & Jama): please pray as they pursue adoption; pray for the details to come together
  • Marilyn Helms: health & encouragement
  • Robin Barnard (Tabitha Schuetz sister): home; having difficulty managing pain; PET scan moved to 11/20; radiation begins next week
  • Frank & Elaine Gentry (Yvonne Kay’s parents): Frank is having a lot of side effects from new cancer treatment; Elaine is exhausted from caring for him
  • Cindy (Truman & Naomi Snyder’s daughter): transferred to hospital in Cleveland, OH for surgery
  • Dewayne Young (Donna Beck's brother): has lost hearing in both ears; doctors say there is nothing they can do to bring it back
  • Scott Beck (Beck's son): has lost hearing in left ear; infection in the right ear; hearing; hearing in left ear likely to not return
