During the 5pm service, we will be voting on mission support for the Gomez Family, Missionaries to Central Mexico, Bajio Region.
This is an opportunity for us ladies to have time together eating yummy food, getting to know each other better, and having fun!
 
Here are the details you need to know:
  • Choose which time you want to come and sign up (text Melinda [812-327-5223], call the church office, [812-876-6072] or sign up at the welcome desk). 
  • The two times that are offered are to try to include as many as can come, and to make it as convenient for everyone.
  • Buy a gift and wrap it up! Will you choose brown paper packages tied up with string, Christmas paper, a gift bag? Up to you! Spend no more than $12-$15 on a gift that YOU love! The value of the gift may be more than $12-$15 (but please not less), but don't spend more than the amount allowed. (I'm trying to make it fair and fun for everyone.) Black Friday is coming—maybe you will score a great deal on something you love! The gift often says more about the giver—it will be fun to get to see what everyone loves!
  • Ideas: a new hair product, a kitchen gadget, something practical, something whimsical, your favorite treats, something that makes your life easier, something you cannot live without, a self-care item. Choose something that is one of YOUR favorite things!
  • Bring your favorite snack to share—egg rolls, pizza rolls, goat cheese, flaming hot Cheetos?? What is your favorite snack? Please bring it to share!
  • You DO NOT have to bring a gift to attend! There will still be plenty of fun if you choose not to participate in that part of the evening.

Run or walk with your family, friends, neighbors, or colleagues at Wheeler Mission—Bloomington's upcoming newly rebranded 5K, named Dash 4 Shelter.

Here are important Dash 4 Shelter details:
• Date: Saturday, December 2
• Start Time: 10:30 a.m.
• Distance: Timed 5K (3.1 miles)
• Where: Starting and finishing at Karst Farm Park
• Route: Solely on Karst Farm Greenway
• Event Site & Sign Up: Dash 4 Shelter

Proceeds benefit Wheeler Mission—Bloomington’s programs services for those experiencing homelessness in Bloomington, Monroe County, and South-Central Indiana.
  • Lois & Ernie Eaton: continued prayer for health & grace
  • Fritzi & Sue Sips: received good report from doctors this week; continuing chemo & radiation treatments for now
  • Tyler & Nancy Sage: Tyler's health & Nancy as she cares for him
  • Becky White: recovering in Richland Bean Blossom & doing well; hoping to be home by Thanksgiving; appreciates the love & prayers
  • John Bower: Esophageal cancer; per radiologist, treatments appear to be working; 3 of 5 chemo is tomorrow; thank you for the support & prayers!
  • Ronnie Harris (Craig Harris's Uncle): in ICU with cancer & heart failure; prayers needed for peace & comfort for him & his family
  • Lisa Chaudion: upcoming appointments
  • Robin Barnard (Tabitha Schuetz sister): continuing to have trouble managing pain; several appts upcoming; radiation began 11/15, chemo begins 11/16; Tabitha & kids driving to visit 11/19; traveling mercies
  • Frank & Elaine Gentry (Yvonne Kay’s parents): Frank is having a lot of side effects from new cancer treatment; Elaine is exhausted from caring for him
  • Cindy (Truman & Naomi Snyder’s daughter): Snyders were at church this past Sunday; Cindy is doing well!
  • Brown Family (Kirby & Jama): please pray as they pursue adoption; pray for the details to come together
  • Marilyn Helms: health & encouragement
