FOOD DRIVE FOR PANTRY 279

Lifeway’s food drive in partnership with Pantry 279 ends Sunday! You can drop off items when you’re here for services or bring them to the church office by 1:00pm on
Monday, November 17th.

We’re collecting:
Thanksgiving items: canned yams, stuffing, Jiffy mix, cranberry sauce
Pantry staples: soups, ramen, rice, canned goods, etc.

If you missed the deadline, you can still support Pantry 279 directly—donations are welcome year-round!

Adult Bible Study Sunday Winter Quarter

Winter Quarter Sunday Adult Bible Studies are kicking off soon, and we can’t wait for you to jump in! This is your final reminder to sign up by 11/16 so we can order the right number of books and avoid wasting resources.

Here’s what’s being offered:

Explore the Bible (Matthew 1–13) – Want to dig deeper into God’s Word and get to know Jesus better? This class walks through how to study Scripture and explore His life and ministry.

Bible Studies for Life – New to the church or looking to connect with others? This class is super practical and focuses on real-life faith. Topics include “Limited Resources, Limitless God” and “Sharing Jesus in a Post-Christian World.”

Not Old, Not Young, Not Done – For those in their 50s and 60s who want to make these years count for God’s glory.

Sign up today or at the Welcome Desk this Sunday! Let’s grow together — and help us be good stewards by ordering just what we need.

Join us for a special evening of thanksgiving & praise to our Lord! This heartfelt gathering will include scripture readings, worship music, & a time of reflection as we celebrate God’s goodness & faithfulness. We’ll be sharing a meal together with a cozy menu of soup,

CHRISTMAS PICTURES WITH MELISSA

Melissa Bower will take family & individual Christmas pictures in the South Foyer after the 10am service on Dec. 7th, 14th, 21st. Photos are taken free of charge. For those interested, a donations box will be available & any money received will go to New Beginnings Pregnancy Center.

LADIES' CRAFT NIGHT

December 2nd at 7:00pm

Ladies, come join us for a Christmas craft night at Lifeway. We will be painting & personalizing door mats! The cost is $20. Payment & sign-up is due by Sunday, November 23rd. Click here to reserve your spot!

  • Gus Correa: pray for his rehabilitation & for the family as they care for him
  • Greg Hottell: chemo treatments as he continues to battle cancer
  • Ron & Jennifer Cheatham: ongoing health concerns – prayers for test results
  • Ken Kolbe: continued prayers for recovery & healing
  • Shawn Walden (Jasmine Burks Dad): having 4” tumor removed from his liver on 12/9 & he is asking for prayers that it is non-cancerous
  • Joe Paulley: struggling with recovery; encouragement
  • Kelly McDaniel: health concerns; tests being done this week
  • Mike Litz: ongoing trouble with his foot; prayer for healing
  • Jimmy & Peggy Neal (Cindy Sharp’s Aunt & Uncle): Jimmy - home recovering from pneumonia; doing better but still in a lot of pain; Peggy – UTI, health issues
  • Tim (Naomi Snyder’s Son): kidney stones & if they don’t pass, they’ll do surgery, but it is risky b/c of being on blood thinners & not far out from his stroke
  • Julie Murray: had been in hospital Sunday evening due to gallstone in digestive track; doctors believe she was able to pass it; follow-up w/GI doc soon
