On Sunday, we will welcome our missionaries to Uruguay, Paul and Jo Anna Harmon with their two daughters, Felicia and Sofia. Paul will give us an update of the Lord’s work on the field. Please take some time to express love, appreciation and care for them.

We are looking forward to having you join us at our home for a cookout. The church will provide the hot dogs, toppings, and drinks. Please bring a side or dessert large enough to share. Please bring a serving utensil and put your name on it.  The pond is open for fishing so please bring your poles, bait, and tackle if you want to fish.  To help us plan, please sign up HERE so we can have enough hot dogs for everyone.

The forecast for Sunday shows a possibility of rain. Please pay attention to our Facebook page & the church app if we end up needing to cancel.

Dear Lifeway Family,

Thank you for the incredible kindness you showed our family as you recognized 25 years of ministry at Lifeway. We are deeply humbled by your generosity and grateful for the many cards, encouraging words, and expressions of love. Your thoughtfulness was a great encouragement to both Melinda and me.

We are also sincerely thankful for the generous gift that will allow our family to take a trip together in the future. We are looking forward to making those memories and will be excited to share about the trip with you.

It is a tremendous privilege to serve as your pastor. Thank you for allowing us to walk alongside you through the joys and challenges of life these past 25 years. We love our church family and thank God for each of you.

Join us as we celebrate the start of a new school year and kick off our Sunday evening KidzLife program! Children will meet for KidzLife at 5pm and head to the gym at 5:30pm for games and ice cream. Adults will be dismissed from service at 5:30pm to join the festivities, meet teachers, submit prayer requests, and preview the Sunday evening curriculum. Don't miss this fun evening for the whole family!

Our Connection Fellowships will begin the week of August 19! We believe that biblical fellowship is an essential part of Christian growth. God has designed His people to encourage one another, bear one another's burdens, and grow together in Christ. While fellowship happens in many ways, one of the intentional opportunities we provide is through our Connection Fellowships.

We encourage everyone to prayerfully consider making biblical fellowship a regular part of your life at Lifeway. Whether you have attended a fellowship in the past or are interested in joining one for the first time, we invite you to sign up. We look forward to seeing Christ-centered relationships continue to grow!

We're excited to introduce THRIVE, a Connection Fellowship for recent high school graduates, singles, and young couples without children.

THRIVE exists to help young adults build Christ-centered friendships through intentional gatherings. Our desire is to create a place where friendships are formed, faith is strengthened, and Christ is honored.

Join us for our THRIVE Luncheon on Sunday, August 30, immediately following the morning service. This will be a great opportunity to enjoy lunch, learn more about the ministry, meet others in the same stage of life, and begin building meaningful friendships.

It’s time to begin signing up for the Fall Quarter Adult Bible Studies! These studies will meet on Sunday mornings at 9am and provide a meaningful opportunity to grow in God’s Word and fellowship with others.

Two classes will be offered:
Explore the Bible: Romans
Getting to know your Bible: A theology of Scripture & how to maximize it in your life

Register for classes by August 16. You may sign up here or by contacting the church office. Please note that study books will be ordered only for those who register, so be sure to sign up by the deadline.

It’s time to renew our Church Picture/Address Directory. This is a helpful tool for us to get to know each other and love and pray for one another. Here is how you can help us update the directory:
 
Stop by one of the four directories (in the adult Sunday school classes, North Foyer, and Children’s Welcome Desk) and update one physical copy with any new family, address, cell phone changes.

If you want your picture changed or updated, please email a digital copy to info@lifewaybaptistchurch.org or stop by on your way out of church. We will have people available to take your picture.

We will be accepting updates and changes for the month of August. New & updated directories will be available for pick up on September 20.

We are excited to welcome back Daniel, Alayna, and Kate Overly!

They will be moving into their new home on Saturday, August 15, and could use some help unloading and unpacking their moving truck.

Because we will not know the exact time assistance will be needed until Saturday morning, we are looking for volunteers who are willing to be on standby. If you are available to help, please email info@lifewaybaptistchurch.org, and we will add you to a contact list and reach out with details on moving day.
