NEW BABY & RECOVERY MEALS

We will soon have 3 new babies born into the church and 3 families to help with recovery meals. What a blessing it is to have new life, and what a blessing it is to help others . If you are interested and willing to make 3 freezer meals and bring them to the church, we can help deliver them to these families.  Please contact Melinda for further details.

COLLEGE & CAREER WELCOME BACK LUNCH!

(following the 10am worship service)

School is back in session! All young adults/College & Career students are invited to join us for lunch after the morning worship service! Please sign-up here to let us know you plan to attend.
After a summer break, our Connection Fellowships are returning this fall & we’re excited to reconnect! We’re offering three evening fellowships for you to choose from:

- College & Career, 6:30pm at Lifeway
- Von Bokern Group, 6:30pm at Lifeway
- Stewart Group, 6:30pm at the Stewart Home

Fellowships begin 9/10 & will meet every other week throughout the season.

TOGETHER IN THE WORD & PITCH-IN LUNCH

Join us as we launch the season with a time of Bible Study and lunch—a perfect way to
connect, reflect, & share a meal together. Everyone is welcome! Whether you’re joining us for the study, the lunch, or both, we’d love to see you there. Sign up today at the Welcome Desk!

IMPACT STUDENTS!

Go-kart racing and arcade at Rascal's Fun Zone! This is a favorite, for sure. Meeting at Lifeway at 5pm for dinner before heading off to Rascal's. Bus will return to Lifeway by 11pm. Cost is $25/person. All 6th-12th graders and friends are invited. We will need a headcount to plan for transportation, food, etc. so please sign-up here.
We will observe the Lord’s Table together. Members will also vote on proposed building
renovation items, & a special offering will be collected for the Care Fund. For more details, please pick up a handout at the Welcome Desk.

LADIES' FALL CRAFT SOCIAL

  • John Bower & Family: healing; strength for family
  • Gleiser Family: Bryn’s ongoing battle w/cancer
  • Mary Gross: continued strength as she has treatments for cancer
  • Gus Correa: Gus continues to make great improvements; Continued prayers for recovery
  • Marilyn Helms: has been in & out of hospital; prayers for answers & encouragement
  • Rick (Susan Hawkins brother-in-law): in treatment; praying he responds well; his multiple myeloma goes into remission
  • Greg Hottell: home recovering from surgery on 8/22; struggling w/some things but overall doing well; chemo will begin after he has healed up from this surgery
  • Anton Crissen: continued healing from brain surgery & improvement in therapy
  • Deanna Abell (friend of Michelle Collins): continued prayer for upcoming scans
  • Jim Musgrave: recovery is going well but slow; hopes to be back at church soon
  • Mike Litz: prayer for pain management in his leg
  • Erin (Susan Hawkin’s stepmom): recently lost her husband; now struggling with breast cancer
  • Patricia Hooten (LaDonna Fisher’s mom): getting a little better; prayer that she can stay where she is as there is a waiting list
  • Harold Stovall (Traci Thompson's Dad): surgery went well & he seems to be recovering better than they expected!
  • George Kristoff: continued prayer for healing after knee replacement surgery
  • Christy Paulley: recovery after shoulder surgery on 8/25; pain management
  • Sue Winders: home from hospital; prayers for continued healing; encouragement
  • Donna Beck: Upcoming appts & declining health
  • Mack Vest: recovering from surgery on the achilles tendon
