Because of Daylight Savings Time, there will be no Sunday School classes meeting. Instead, come enjoy coffee & donuts with friends & stay for the 10am Worship Service. RENOVATION UPDATES

Praise the Lord, renovation work is moving forward beautifully!

Over the next few weeks, you may notice more movement and transitions throughout the building. We kindly ask for your patience and flexibility during this season. We know that some of the work may cause occasional inconvenience, and we truly appreciate your grace as we navigate these changes together. We will continue to communicate any adjustments to our gatherings as early as possible.

2. Temporary Nursery Location (Effective 2/15)
Beginning February 15, the nursery will be located in the room in the southwest hallway. Because this space will be used for infants and toddlers, we kindly ask everyone to keep noise levels low in that area to help our little ones rest comfortably.
As weekly changes continue, we would be blessed to have additional volunteers to serve as greeters and guides to help direct people as they arrive. We may also need help with parking assistance for those with mobility challenges. If you’re willing to serve in any of these ways, please contact the church office or speak with Tabitha Schuetz at the Welcome Desk.

Bible Studies for Life

During the month of February, we have an opportunity to participate in the diaper drive for NBPRC! You may drop off donations at Lifeway during office hours (Mon.-Thurs. 8:30am-1pm) or at NBPRC Mon. or Thur., 12-4pm. Online orders of diapers and wipes can be shipped directly to Lifeway.

We have an opportunity to exercise pure religion (James 1:27) & love for the widows in our church family. Please pick up a flower & contact card at the Welcome Desk & deliver these on or before February 14^th.

As we enter the colder months, we want to you of a few simple steps we can all take together to keep our gathering healthy and strong. By practicing these preventative measures, we can reduce the spread of seasonal illnesses and continue worshiping in safety and joy together.

Preventative Measures

Hand Hygiene: Please wash your hands often with soap and water, or use hand sanitizer when available.
Cover Coughs & Sneezes: Use a tissue or your elbow to cover, and dispose of tissues promptly.
Stay Home if Unwell: If you’re experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms, we encourage you to rest at home and join us online if possible.

We will continue to keep common areas clean, provide hand sanitizer stations, and make online services available for those who need them.

Join us as we share the beautiful story of the Gospel with our community through our Living Nativity. This cherished event brings the manger scene to life and offers a warm, welcoming space for all who attend.

We’re looking for a few volunteers to dress as shepherds—this includes helping with the donkeys or sheep— and we also need three fire pits with friendly faces to tend them and connect with guests as they warm up by the fire.

Additionally, we need volunteers to help with setup on the day of the event. Setup will begin at 2:30pm.

Join us for a special evening of thanksgiving & praise to our Lord! This heartfelt gathering will include scripture readings, worship music, & a time of reflection as we celebrate God’s goodness & faithfulness. We’ll be sharing a meal together with a cozy menu of soup,

Melissa Bower will take family & individual Christmas pictures in the South Foyer after the 10am service on Dec. 7^th, 14^th, 21^st. Photos are taken free of charge. For those interested, a donations box will be available & any money received will go to New Beginnings Pregnancy Center.

Tim (Naomi Snyder’s Son): kidney stones & if they don’t pass, they’ll do surgery, but it is risky b/c of being on blood thinners & not far out from his stroke
Julie Murray: had been in hospital Sunday evening due to gallstone in digestive track; doctors believe she was able to pass it; follow-up w/GI doc soon

FOOD DRIVE FOR PANTRY 279

In light of the economic challenges many in our community are facing, Lifeway is partnering with Pantry 279 to help meet urgent food needs this season. Together, we can make a meaningful difference—especially as Thanksgiving approaches.

What’s Needed:

Thanksgiving Box Items: canned yams, stuffing mix, Jiffy cornbread mix, cranberry sauce
Pantry Staples: soups, ramen, rice, noodles, pasta sauce, canned side dishes (like SpaghettiOs), canned meats, pork & beans, and more

Collection Dates:
November 2 – November 16

Drop-Off Times & Location:
Bring your donations to Lifeway during any service time or during office hours:
Monday–Thursday, 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM

Monetary gifts are also welcome—Lifeway will give these funds to help Pantry 279
purchase high-need items. Your financial gift may be given here or by check/cash. Please be sure to designate it to, “Food Drive for Pantry 279”.

All collected items will be delivered to Pantry 279 at the end of the drive.

SERVICE INFORMATION FOR JOHN BOWER

A graveside service will be held at Haven Hill Cemetery in Olney, IL at 9:00 am CT / 10:00 am ET, followed by a funeral service at Lifeway Baptist Church in Ellettsville, IN at 3:30 pm ET on Saturday, November 1, 2025.

Following the service at Lifeway, a meal will be provided for the members of the family. If you feel led to prepare a dish for this gathering, please contact Sarah Higgins at (812) 821-5131.
