SUNDAY SCHOOL WINTER QUARTER

During the winter quarter (December through February), there will be two studies available during the adult 9am Sunday School hour. If you plan to participate in the Explore the Bible class, please sign up at the Welcome Desk or here so we can order books ASAP.

Class 1 - Explore the Bible study of Exodus and Leviticus in the Fellowship Hall. | In this Bible Survey class, we will get an overview of these two OT Books.

Class 2 - Theology of the Bible: What the Bible is and how we got it. | In this study, Pastor Steve will teach about inspiration, preservation, and the translation of the Bible. The goal is to strengthen our trust in the Word of God and understand our church's position on translations.

November 24 (after the 10am service)

Seedline International is working with a church in North Carolina whose congregation was greatly affected by the hurricanes. All but 3 families in the church have lost everything. Seedline is collecting toys to take down to them & we would like to help! If you’d like to help, please bring new, unwrapped toys to the church office by 12/4. If you’d like to donate money for gifts to be purchased, it can be given online or in an envelope. Please designate it to ‘NC Christmas’. Funds must be received by 12/1.

LADIES BOOK STUDY

All ladies who are interested in doing a book study and meeting in January to discuss it, please sign up here or at the Welcome Desk. The book is Heaven Rules by Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth and cost is $15. Please do not let cost get in the way of joining this study. Please talk with Melinda or the church office if cost is an issue.

CHRISTMAS DECORATING!!

It is almost time to decorate the church for Christmas! If you are willing to help on Saturday, November 30 (Saturday following Thanksgiving) FROM 9am to around noon, please sign up here or at the welcome desk. Men and women are needed! If you have questions, see Melinda Von Bokern or Lydia Kramer.

  • Nancy Norris (Mindy Burn’s Mom): endometrial cancer

  • Debra Merry: recovery from skin cancer surgery on 11/4
  • Beverly Sellers: has had some problems with her eye; doctors appt this week
  • Land Development happening around Lifeway
  • Lois England: had a fall; for healing and strength. Continued help and strength for Chuck and Hazel as they care for her.
  • Donna Beck & Family: Donna's niece, Debbie Lacey, passed away Wednesday afternoon
