2026 WINTER QUARTER

It’s time to begin signing up for the winter quarter Adult Bible Studies! These studies will
meet on Sunday mornings at 9am. Two classes will be offered:

Rosh will be teaching a series "9 Marks of a Healthy Church"
"Instead of an instruction manual for church growth, this study offers clear, biblical principles for assessing the health of your church. More importantly, it helps believers identify their own spiritual health as they engage and interact with their local church."

Pastor Doug will be teaching "Galatians: A Complete Study"
"The book of Galatians is short but powerful. Paul addresses the need for a clear understanding of the Gospel, how Scripture finds its climax in the Gospel, and what the Christian faith implies for Christian living."

There will not be books, but we will most likely have handouts we give each week.
We do ask you to register so that we know what size room to plan for.
New classes will begin December 6. You may sign up below or by contacting the church office. We encourage you to register today & plan to join us this winter!

Register HERE
This year, we will not be holding a separate Pie & Praise service during the week of Thanksgiving as we have in the past. Instead, we will have a Harvest Meal Pitch-In during our Connection Meal.

Everyone is invited! You do not need to be part of a Fellowship Group to attend!

Please bring a pot of soup, a platter of sandwiches, or a pie to share.

NEW SONG TO LEARN

We're excited to introduce Christ Our Wisdom to the congregation on November 8! We encourage you to take a few minutes to listen to it beforehand so you'll be familiar with it. Check it out here or wherever you listen to music.

THRIVE BONFIRE ACTIVITY

NOVEMBER 17 AT 6PM

We invite all young adults to join Thrive for an outdoor bonfire gathering at Blake & Olivia’s. Come for as much of it as you can! We will have hot dogs & s’mores. There is no cost & registration is open. Sign up HERE to let us know you're coming.

CHURCH BUSINESS

The Lord has allowed us to move forward on seeing the building and property that we own in Spencer once again used for its original purpose - a home for women recovering from addiction. Currently, Dottie’s Refuge is making plans to get the building ready for occupancy. The goal is to be re-opened by January of 2027. We will give more updates as we have them.

HELP NEEDED FOR THE CORREA FAMILY

The Correa family is in need of additional help caring for Gus during the week. The ideal person does not need any professional training but will be dependable and wants to engage with him. You will assist with activities such as grooming, speech therapy, movement exercises, and other tasks that help keep Gus's mind and body active while the rest of the family is away during the day. Amber will provide all instruction for these tasks. Gus also likes to sit on the porch and listen to Scripture and music.

The needed hours are Monday through Thursday, 10am-3pm. No certification or prior experience is required. No medicine will be administered. Amber will teach someone how to use the Hoyer lift to move Gus from his chair to his bed. This opportunity offers some compensation.

If this sounds like something you could help with, even for only part of the time, please contact the church office. We would be happy to answer any questions or explain any details.
