Each book includes six core passages
For years Glow Jr. focused on virtues while Glow in the Dark published eclectic devotional material. In 2026 we are making both publications complementary. The junior book will change in January 2026 and the teen book will come a few months later in the spring of 2026.
The purpose of this change is to help kids and teens develop a better habit of daily Scripture meditation.

Each book will concentrate on 6 core passages.
Each passage will spans 10 days.
Each book will contain roughly 60 devotions.
Cover art and layout
The last update to cover art and layout was 2015. Ten years later, we are excited to have a new look!
Glow Junior is the only book updated for January 2026. It is our goal to have the Glow in the Dark teen book updated in the spring of 2026.

Titles & Dates
Books will be printed every 2 months like always. The difference is that we will not title the books the same way. Instead of titling them by the published date (January/February 2026), we will title them by the 6 core passages they will cover (Psalms: Volume 1).
Instead of dating each devotion (Thursday, January 1), devotions will be labeled by day and core passage (Day 1 in Psalm 1).
The two reasons for this change :
1. It allows students to start any time and focus on setting habits.
2. It keeps each book current and always relevant.

Family Devotions
Because the Junior and Teen book (spring 2026) will cover the same 6 core passages each edition, families have the opportunity of using Glow in the Dark for family devotions.
The devotions each day will not be identical, but there will be a consistency that will allow teens to read with younger siblings or parents to read as a family.
