SUNDAY SCHOOL WINTER QUARTER

Sunday School books for the Explore the Bible study are available to pick up at the Welcome Desk. Winter Quarter for Sunday School Groups begins 12/1. Explore the Bible study class will meet in the Fellowship Hall & the Bibliology class meeting in the Glow Room.
Thank you for your generous response to the toy drive for families in NC so far! Further toy donations must be turned in at the church office by 12/4 & monetary donations received by 12/1. You can give online or in an envelope. Please designate it to ‘NC Christmas’.
This outreach is coming up soon and we could use some volunteers!
If you would like to help in any of the areas listed, please sign up below or at the Welcome Desk this Sunday.

  • 6 adults to dress up as shepherds. Church will provide the costumes. Please note, you will be standing for the duration of the event & holding leads of live animals. If you’d like to put together your own costumes & come dressed up, please do!
  • 4 fire pits & 3 volunteers to stand at the fires & oversee them.
  • Set up - several volunteers are needed for set up. Meeting at the church on 12/8 at 2:30pm.

BAKED GOODS FOR ELLETTSVILLE POLICE

The Ellettsville police department will be doing some special offer training at the church on Tuesday - Thursday, (December 10, 11, 12). If anyone if able to bring in some home baked treats (cookies, muffins, banana/zuccini/pumpkin bread) please email or text/call Melinda Von Bokern.

COUPLES' CHRISTMAS PARTY

Please bring a Christmas inspired side or dessert! The church will provide Chick-fil-A
nuggets & sauce! Every PERSON who wants to be a part of the secret Santa GAG gift
exchange should bring a gift that they spent no more than $5 on! Yes, it can be thrifted from Goodwill or a yard sale!  Yes, you can still come without taking part in the exchange! Let’s have some Christmas fun together! Please sign up here or at the Welcome Desk this Sunday.

LADIES BOOK STUDY

All ladies who are interested in doing a book study and meeting in January to discuss it, please sign up here or at the Welcome Desk. The book is Heaven Rules by Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth and cost is $15. Please do not let cost get in the way of joining this study. Please talk with Melinda or the church office if cost is an issue.

CHRISTMAS FOR THE PASTORS

As a church family, we would like to express our love and appreciation to Pastor Steve, Pastor Doug, Pastoral Intern Blake, and their families by collecting a love-offering for Christmas. If you would like to contribute, please use the envelopes designated “Christmas for Pastors” located at the Welcome Desk and in the pews. You may also give online, please select the fund "Christmas for Pastors". We will collect these love gifts through Sunday, December 22nd.

  • Lois England: had a fall; for healing and strength. Continued help and strength for Chuck and Hazel as they care for her.
  • Josh Rivera: lost job; searching for new employment
  • Kelly McDaniel: fell, broke wrist
  • Linda Bertram: recovery after surgery to remove kindey stone
  • Wayne Shotts: fell & broke ankle; had surgery yesterday; will be in a hard cast for several weeks
  • Land Development happening around Lifeway
